Peru (Page 4)
After completing my undergraduate degree, I lived in Peru for seven months. For most of that time, I worked as a volunteer with Helping Overcome Obstacles Peru (HOOP), a nonprofit supporting families in a small town outside of Arequipa. I also spent a month traveling around the country, seeing as much as I could before it was time to leave. The majority of these articles are a collection of travel stories, but as I reflect and revisit this place in my mind some years later, I look forward to thoughtfully adding to topics related to traveling to Peru, living in Peru as a foreigner, and why Peru is a wonderful country to visit.
